This client was delighted to learn that Extra Space Developments are experts in truss roof loft conversions. Their new build house had fink trusses in their roof and the family had almost given up hope of finding a company to carry out their loft conversion in Pontefract – until they found us.
The property was only five years old and the clients were keen to create an extra space in the house for their teenage daughter to escape to.
We were keen to get started on this loft conversion as soon as the client accepted our quote. Our expert team installed the steelwork on the first day, with joists and floored wiring following in that first week.
Next, the staircase into the loft. The family bathroom was in the middle of the house and directly in the ridge line, so we had to move the existing family bathroom to create access to the loft. We created a new family bathroom space using a room from the first floor.
We installed Velux windows, and once the loft was insulated and plasterboarded: it was ready for plastering by our talented plasterer.
The clients were delighted with the loft conversion and their daughter was over the moon to finally have her own space.
