This was a quick and easy project for the team, creating a bedroom and bathroom loft conversion for a big family in Malton.
The clients approached us with no architect plans but a vision for their loft conversion. They had just merged their two families together and – with five teenagers in the house – were desperately in need of some extra space!
In our plans, we chose to position the new staircase over the existing stairs, to avoid losing any living space downstairs.
We installed four Velux windows to give the rooms plenty of natural light. As the house had solar panels installed on the front elevation, we made sure the Velux window was positioned so as not to compromise the panels.
Our team then expertly tiled the bathroom and built in a walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet.
