This loft conversion in Goole was a very special project. The clients have two young children and two businesses to run – so they were desperate to have their own peaceful oasis to escape to.
They chose Extra Space Developments to convert their loft into a tranquil master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and separate dressing area. On our initial visit to the site, we agreed that a flat dormer loft conversion would be the best fit for their property.
The existing staircase was located in the entrance hall to the house. Martin, Tom and Max started the project by fitting the new loft stairs to follow on from the original, making it a focal point in the house.
In the loft space, we essentially split the area in two down the ridge line – creating a space for the dressing area and a wall for the client’s bed to be placed against.
We fitted Velux windows and UPVC windows within the dormer, allowing plenty of natural light to flood into the loft conversion. Finally, the en-suite bathroom was fully tiled and fitted out with top-quality sanitary ware.
