After seeing our work on a friend’s loft conversion in Wakefield, this client decided to reach out to see what we could do for them. Alongside living in a 15-year-old house that needed a rethink it terms of layout, this client had three children and fostered others, meaning their need for space was paramount.
With it having a very steep pitch and high ridge, it made the perfect job for our team.
This L-shaped loft conversion was easy to convert due to its good ridge height. Due to the limited options for the staircase placement, we pinched some space from the master bedroom. Since the new loft stairs were positioned off the original landing, the flow from the existing staircase to the new one was seamless.
In the loft, we designed a master bedroom with an ensuite and dressing room – a bright and spacious retreat for the client to enjoy.
